Overview

Supplied under the “CJC-1296” designation — a modified GHRH (growth-hormone-releasing hormone) analog in the CJC-1295 / modified GRF(1-29) family, without the Drug Affinity Complex (DAC), giving it a short, pulsatile half-life. Binds pituitary GHRH receptors to stimulate pulsatile growth-hormone (and downstream IGF-1) release. DPP-4-resistant substitutions extend stability; without DAC, the action is short and closer to the body's natural GH rhythm.

General reconstitution & storage reference for lyophilized peptides:

  1. 1Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) rather than plain sterile water — the preservative meaningfully extends usable shelf life.
  2. 2In bacteriostatic water, refrigerate at 2–8°C, typically usable for ~28–30 days. In plain sterile water (no preservative): 7–14 days.
  3. 3Lyophilized (unmixed) vials are stable at refrigerated or, for some peptides, frozen temperatures for extended periods prior to reconstitution.
  4. 4Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, direct light/UV exposure, and heat — these are the primary drivers of peptide degradation.
